Wine Writers of New Zealand (WWNZ) has been established to encourage excellence and integrity in wine writing in New Zealand and provide a platform for the exchange of information.

The objectives of the WWNZ are:

1. to uphold a high standard of communication about wines
2. to encourage continuing professional development amongst members
3. to provide members with a voice with which to express their views
4. to deliver a programme of workshops, meetings, talks and tastings
